What is the difference between Evolve and Evolve Max?

Evolve Max uses taller doors and panels with 1 inch of floor clearance, so the compartment is nearly fully enclosed. Standard Evolve keeps a 9 inch floor clearance. Both use the same compact grade laminate, aluminum frame and overhead-braced mounting.

What are Evolve cubicles made of?

  • Doors, dividers and fascias: 1/2 inch compact grade laminate (solid phenolic) with matte melamine faces and a black phenolic core. Bobrick rates it ASTM E84 Class A or B depending on the finish manufacturer; the standard Abet Laminati colors are Class A.
  • Frame: fully anodized aluminum headrail and vertical posts.
  • Single-piece dividers: 72 inch panels in one piece, so deep compartments do not need a second panel and extra brackets.
  • Hardware: anodized aluminum lock that opens with a closed fist, occupancy indicator with emergency release, coat hook and anti-finger-trap clearance on the hinge side.
  • Urinal partitions: floor-anchored partitions in matching finish and hardware.

How does RSA handle an Evolve project?

  1. Blocking before drywall. Evolve's overhead-braced frame mounts to the walls at points that need backing. We send the mounting locations early so the framer installs blocking before the walls close.
  2. Quote from your drawings. We complete Bobrick's Evolve quote request with your stall and urinal partition counts, color, pedestal height and ship-to location.
  3. Field measure and submittals. We verify the room, then submit shop drawings, the technical data sheet and color samples for approval.
  4. Receive and install. We track the order, receive the freight and install with our own W2 crews across the Southeast. Outside our installation area, we ship nationwide.

Are Evolve cubicles fire rated?

Yes. Bobrick rates Evolve compact grade laminate ASTM E84 Class A or B depending on the finish manufacturer. The standard Abet Laminati colors meet Class A without an upcharge.

What warranty comes with Evolve?

Bobrick guarantees Evolve cubicles, hardware and brackets against defects in material and workmanship for one year. It adds a 10-year limited warranty on the compact grade laminate panels and doors against breakage, corrosion and delamination when properly installed and maintained. RSA installations also carry our one-year workmanship warranty.

Can Evolve be used in showers and locker rooms?

Yes. Bobrick lists locker rooms as a standard application and describes Evolve Max as a fit for shower applications.

How long does Evolve take to arrive?

Lead time depends on color and quantity, so we confirm it with your quote.

Does RSA install Evolve?

Yes. Our own W2 crews install Evolve in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina, along with the rest of your Division 10 scope. Elsewhere, we supply and ship it.
