Towel hook is designed for security applications. Unit will release item when a force of 20 pounds or greater is applied. Backplate is made of 14 gauge stainless steel. Unit is surface mounted and protrudes 2-1/4 inches from finished wall. Chase mounted design meant for 6 inch wall thickness.
