Bathroom Stall Doors and Replacement Doors

Bathroom Stall Doors and Replacement Doors

Bathroom stall doors are the swinging panels on a toilet partition compartment, and they can be replaced individually: a damaged door does not mean replacing the whole stall. Restroom Stalls and All supplies replacement bathroom stall doors in the same five materials as our toilet partitions, matched to your existing color, thickness and hardware. We ship nationwide and install across Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina.

Doors take the hardest use of any partition component, so they are usually the first thing a facility needs to replace. Send us your measurements and a photo, and a project manager will quote the exact match.

Can You Replace Just a Bathroom Stall Door?

Yes. A bathroom stall door can be replaced on its own, without replacing the rest of the partition compartment. A replacement door needs to match the existing partition in four ways: material, panel thickness, color or finish, and the hinge and latch layout. When one door is damaged but the panels and pilasters are sound, a matched replacement door restores the stall at a fraction of the cost of a new compartment.

Full replacement makes more sense when several components are damaged at once, when the existing color has been discontinued, or when the partitions are old enough that new doors would outlive the panels around them. If you are not sure which side of that line you are on, send photos and we will tell you honestly.

Restroom Stall Doors by Material

Replacement restroom stall doors come in every material we supply, so the new door matches the compartment it joins.

Material Why it holds up as a door Where it fits
Powder coated steel The most economical replacement: honeycomb core steel with a baked on powder finish Offices and moderate traffic restrooms in dry conditions
Stainless steel Corrosion resistant with a premium appearance that hides daily wear High traffic and design led spaces
Solid plastic Solid HDPE through the full thickness: shrugs off moisture, impacts and graffiti Schools, parks, stadiums and any wet or hard use environment
Phenolic, black core Compressed resin core with high impact and moisture resistance High traffic restrooms that take hard daily use
Phenolic, color thru The same phenolic performance with color running through the panel edge Design led projects that want phenolic durability
Moisture guard laminate Laminate finish options with sealed edges for added moisture protection Projects that want laminate looks beyond a dry room

How to Measure a Replacement Stall Door

To quote a replacement stall door we need four things: the door width, the door height, the panel thickness, and the hinge and latch layout. Measure the door itself rather than the opening, note which side the hinges sit on and whether the door swings in or out, and photograph the top hinge and the latch from inside the stall. Those two photos usually identify the hardware pattern on their own, which is what makes the new door drop into the existing hinges.

If the door is missing entirely, measure the opening between the pilasters and the height of the neighboring doors, and we will work out the door size from there.

Stall Door Hardware

Hardware decides how a stall door behaves, and it can be replaced with or without the door: hinges that hold the door open or closed at rest, slide latches and their keepers, door pulls, and the coat hooks and bumpers that stop the door against the panel. A sagging or slamming bathroom stall door is usually a hinge problem, not a door problem, so it is worth checking the hardware before ordering a full door. We quote replacement hardware alongside doors, matched to the same layout.

Commercial Restroom Doors for Any Facility

Facility managers replace commercial restroom doors one at a time as damage happens; general contractors order them in sets to close out a renovation. We supply both: single matched replacement doors shipped nationwide, and full door and hardware packages alongside new partition projects, in every material and mounting style we install.

ADA Considerations for Stall Doors

Accessible compartments carry their own door requirements: wider clear openings, specific clearances at the latch side, and hardware that operates without tight grasping or twisting. A replacement door on an accessible stall must preserve what made the compartment compliant.
