CARVART toilet partitions: glassBOX, glassENCLOSE, chplBOX and chplENCLOSE

CARVART calls its toilet partitions cubicles. The BOX systems are partial height with a top aluminum stabilizing bar. The ENCLOSE systems are full height with a stabilizing header. Each comes in glass or in compact laminate, which CARVART calls cHPL.

How CARVART glass toilet partitions mount

All four systems stand on floor mounted aluminum legs that adjust plus or minus 3/8 inch, tie into wall mounted channels, and fasten the top bar or header to the side walls. There are no visible fasteners on the outside face. The glassENCLOSE spec sheet says it does not fasten to the ceiling and can run the full height of the room or stop short of it. This is a European style, top stabilized system, not a ceiling hung one, so it does not match U.S. overhead braced or floor mounted terms one to one.

CARVART's guides say anchors and fasteners are supplied by others, structural coordination is by others, and installers should be trained glazing or carpentry professionals. Include wall construction and blocking details with your plans so we can price the install correctly.

Privacy, ADA and options

• Privacy: flush front, back fastened panels with a continuous sightline. The cHPL systems use a rabbeted door jamb with a full height bulb gasket. The ENCLOSE systems offer an optional LED occupancy indicator in the top fascia.
• Accessibility: pre-sized ambulatory and full ADA layouts. CARVART tells buyers to check local codes.
• Options: an optional treatment that resists fingerprints and repels pollutants, a tamper resistant accessory cover opened with a special key, and pre-approved grab bars and paper and seat cover dispensers that mount to the cubicles.
• Shower doors: a Fronts Only layout for shower stalls.
• Hardware finishes: Satin Anodized, Titanium Anodized or a custom RAL color.

CARVART materials

The 1 year limited warranty appears on the glassENCLOSE spec sheet only. CARVART does not publish warranty terms for glassBOX, chplBOX or chplENCLOSE in the documents we checked, so ask us before you write warranty into a submittal.

Price depends on the system, glass or compact laminate, height, door count, options and wall work, so we quote each CARVART job from the plans.
