Ironwood wood veneer toilet partitions

Ironwood Manufacturing dates to 1972 in the Seattle area (Ironwood about us). Its wood veneer panels use a .039 inch solid wood veneer and a backer sheet over a 45 lb engineered wood core, with matching veneer edge banding and a conversion varnish finish. Standard species are Flat Cut Walnut, Flat Cut White Oak and Rift Cut White Oak, and Ironwood will quote other domestic and exotic species on request.

Where wood veneer fits, and where it does not. Ironwood aims its wood veneer at high end offices, executive floors, hotels and resorts, upscale restaurants, wedding venues, museums, wineries and country clubs. Ironwood's tech data sheet says wood veneer is not suitable for wet, steam or high abuse locations, and its web page adds that it is not recommended for high traffic, abusive or humid restrooms and that the wood is sensitive to light. Ironwood mounting, door styles and privacy

Ironwood lists five mounting styles: headrail braced, floor to ceiling, European (headrail plus pedestals), ceiling hung and floor mount. Door styles include louver, captured panel, door lite, molding, flat panel, inlay, engraving, custom shape and Barn X.

• Privacy: transom and zero sightline options. Ironwood says doors and panels can sit as close as 1/2 inch to the floor and within 1/2 inch of the ceiling, or connect to the ceiling.
• Oversize: any door or panel taller than 58 inches, or any panel wider than 58 inches, and Ironwood says parts may be specified to any dimension (oversized partitions tech data).
• Layouts: all gender, full height privacy, European, showers, dressing compartments and custom made. Ironwood also makes urinal screens.

Ironwood materials

Manufacturer warranty terms are from the Ironwood Manufacturing warranty guide. Ironwood says coverage runs from substantial completion and does not cover installation.

Ironwood does not offer solid plastic, powder coated steel or stainless steel panels; stainless and powder coat appear only as hardware finishes. How much do Ironwood partitions cost?

Price depends on material, veneer species, door style, height, mounting and the number of stalls, so we quote each Ironwood job from the plans.
