Product Description

This ASI Security Grab Bar (Model 10-160) is an all-welded, tamper-resistant grab bar fabricated of stainless steel type 304 alloy 18-8 (18-gauge tubing with 1/8" thick flanges and closure plate) with a Satin finish, sized 24" long. It mounts via Chase (rear) mount: three threaded rods in welded studs on each flange for concealed rear mounting through the wall. Meets the 250 lb. minimum load requirement of ICC/ANSI A117.1 and ADA (28 CFR Part 36), and is rated to hold in excess of 1,350 lbs. when properly installed. Designed for institutional, detention, and behavioral-health restrooms where standard exposed-mount grab bars are not appropriate.
